The Public Works Department provides a broad spectrum of services to the Rocky Hill community, focused primarily on the maintenance, repair, and construction of Town infrastructure. The following is a brief overview of our primary responsibilities:
Street/highway maintenance and construction
Stormwater management
Collection and disposal of municipal solid waste and recyclables
Snow/ice removal
Procurement, maintenance and repair of all Town owned vehicles and equipment
Street signs and line striping
Select open space and roadside mowing and maintenance
Street sweeping
Miscellaneous support services to other Town agencies
