Rocky Hill Fire Department includes fire prevention and suppression, all types of rescue services and HAZMAT response. The Fire Department has a variety of fire and rescue apparatus at its disposal:
- A fire rescue boat
- One 1750 gallon per minute (gpm) foam pumper
- One 4 by 4 attack pumper
- One heavy duty rescue vehicle
- Support vehicles for command personnel, and Fire Police
- Three aerial ladders:
- One aerial with no pump
- One tower ladder with a 1500 gpm
- One with a 1500 gpm pump
- Two 1250 gpm rescue pumpers
- Two 1500 gpm pumpers
