July Floods

At a recent Town Council meeting, Lisa Gilbert and Fran Whelan spoke to the farmland loss caused by heavy flooding. As the climate changes, heavy rainfall will become more frequent, so its critical that as a town we come together to support our local agriculture.  Watch their presentation here on YouTube.

In the short term, You can help out farmers by buying directly from them at farm stands around town and participating in the town's Farmers Markets.
