Important Opening Information

We are now open for limited use. We are offering in-person checkouts and computer usage by appointments.

In Person Checkouts:

  • Browse our newly curated displays and check out items with our Dash-in & Dash-out service. Please bring your library card.
Monday - Thursday: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
Friday: 9:30 am - 4:45 pm
Saturday: 9:30 am - 1:00 pm

Computer Use - By Appointment Only:

  • One hour appointments are available to use computers and / or printers. Please book online or by calling 860-258-7623. Please bring exact change or small bills to make printouts / copies.
Monday - Thursday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Friday: 10:00 am - 4:45 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Library 2 Go Service:

  • We are still offering curbside service. Please call 860-258-7621, ext #2 to arrange a pickup.
Monday - Thursday: 9:30 am - 7:45 pm
Friday: 9:30 am - 4:45 pm
Saturday: 9:30 am - 4:45 pm

Please use the outside book drop bins for library item returns. Please note: We are quarantining all items for 7 days or more. We are backdating and no fines will be incurred. Please DO NOT place donations / other items in the book drop bins.

Masks must be worn at all times and 6-foot 
social distancing is required.

We have a variety of ebooks, audiobooks and e-magazines that can be downloaded to your computer or mobile device.

Conversation with a Scientist: Volcanic Eruptions - on Zoom

Join us remotely for some fiber fun! Knitting, crochet, sewing, cross stitch, spinning or weaving! Grab whatever craft you’re working on, a favorite beverage and your tablet, phone, or computer for a couple of hours of fibery goodness. Newbies welcome! Tuesdays at 11:00. Click here to register.

Mother Goose on the Loose - Online with Zoom

Mother Goose on the Loose is a nursery rhyme program that will help your child gain pre-reading skills. Join us on Thursdays at 10:00 for fun songs, rhymes and a story.
