Winter Reading Challenge - All Ages Banner

Access thousands of digital resources for free via your #RockyHill library card!
If you don't have a Cora J. Belden Library card and you are a Rocky Hill resident, get a digital card to access our online resources by CLICKING HERE.

After filling out the form, you will receive a temporary library card number that will give full access to the majority of e-Resources from your phone, tablet, or laptop, including OverDrive / Libby books and more.

This e-Card will be good for 90 days. At that time please bring proof of residency, such as a photo I.D., utility bill, or other official mail, to the library. We will then provide you with your permanent card. Email cora@rockyhillct.gov with any questions.

Yo Storytime: Yoga Inspired Storytime - on Zoom

Join us for a yoga inspired storytime with songs, movement, stories and simple child friendly yoga poses. Wear comfortable, stretchy clothes and participate in an area you can move around. Recommended for ages 3-6 with their parent / caregiver. Mondays @ 6:30 beginning January 4th. Register HERE.

Virtual Hangout - on Zoom

Hang out with your friends, chat about your week, and play with your Zoom screen! The school week is over - it's time to relax and have fun! This is a casual program to encourage social interaction. Designed for kids ages 5-10. Fridays @ 4:30. Please register HERE.

Kindness Club: Valentines Edition! - on Zoom

Help us spread some cheer! Register HERE to reserve a project bag that contains everything you need to put together some Valentine's Day greeting cards. Keep a couple, then drop off the rest at the library to spread cheer to local seniors! January 25 @ 10:00. Recommended for children ages 4 and up.

Pirate Treasure Hunt - on Zoom

Listen to a pirate story, Pirate Treasure: Stolen Riches by Lia O’Donnell. Check out your pirate knowledge with a trivia game, and go on an imaginary treasure hunt. January 26 @ 4:30. Recommended for grades 3 - 5. Register HERE to reserve your kit with your treasure supplies!

Getting Started with Windows 10 - on Zoom

Have you recently upgraded to Windows 10 and are feeling lost with the new interface? Maybe you feel comfortable but want to know how you can utilize more of Windows 10's features? If so, join us for this one-hour introductory class! January 26 @ 2:00. Register HERE.

Gone to the Dogs - on Zoom

Our favorite dogs are back – this time on Zoom! The amazing dogs and volunteers with Faithful Friends Therapy Dogs have missed you. What is a better way to spend your time than reading to a dog? Recommended for ages 5 and older. January 26 @ 6:00. Please register HERE.

Pete the Cat Party - on Zoom

Join the fun and wear your Pete the Cat gear! Listen to a Pete the Cat story, make a Pete The Cat hat and a groovy button bracelet, then play Pete the Cat Bingo and participate in a fun scavenger hunt. Recommended for kids ages 4-8. January 30 @ 2:00. Please register HERE.

School Choice with Rajranie Busgith - on Zoom

Check out your education options for your child with Rajranie Busgith, a School Choice Coordinator. School Choice is a centralized resource in the Greater Hartford Region that provides information on pre-K - grade 12 learning opportunities in diverse settings. January 30 @ 11:00. Register HERE.
