Summer Reading 2021: June 21 - August 31

Summer Reading is almost here! Pre-registration for our virtual reading program through Beanstack begins now! ALL AGES are encouraged to participate. Log your books, earn virtual badges, and have a chance to win gift cards to local businesses and other fun prizes! The more you read the more chances you have to win! Hooked on Llamas: A Live Llama! - Outside In Person

Celebrate the beginning of our summer reading program with a live llama and Debbie Labbe from Country Quilt Llama Farm. Debbie will read a story about a llama, share information about llamas, and answer questions. There will also be an opportunity to pet the llama! June 19 @ 2:00. Register here!

Summer Scavenger Hunts - Outside

Try your hand at our latest challenge - outdoor scavenger hunts! Stop by the library at any time during the summer, grab a copy of our latest scavenger hunt, and explore the library grounds. We'll be offering new scavenger hunts each week, all summer long on Saturdays, starting June 19!

Buying a New Smartphone 101 - via Zoom

Have you thought of buying a smartphone but are intimidated by the thought of the whole process? Join us via Zoom June 24 at 6:30 as we cover topics such as selecting a wireless carrier, buying an actual smartphone, and compare and contrast the many options available to you. Gone to the Dogs - Outside In Person

Our favorite dogs are back at the library! Sign up for your own ten minute time slot to read to a dog and volunteer from Faithful Friends Therapy Dogs. This program will be held outside of the library and is recommended for ages 5 and older. June 22 @ 6:00 and June 26 at 10:30. Register here.

Summer Travel Series: Around the World in 80 Gardens - via Zoom

Computer Science for Kids! - Grades K-2 - via Zoom

Join us via Zoom as we discover the FUNdamentals of computer science and coding using the online resource We will cover basic coding concepts using block coding in fun, interactive online activities, including sequencing, loops, and events. Tuesdays 7/6 through 7/20 @ 2:00. Register here.
