Teen Artists

Come into the library to view a special art exhibit featuring the work of three Rocky Hill High School students. We have several pieces from Timothy Jacques, Sofia Zhuk-Vasilyeva, and Allison Jo on display in our main floor gallery.

Summer Reading 2019

Out of this World Activities

Mondays & Tuesdays: 2 - 4 pm, June 17 & 18 and June 24 & 25 - Out of this World Activities. Time for some extra terrestrial activities & crafts! Build a rocket, make an alien, construct a candy constellation & more! For ages 5 and up. No registration required.

A Night of Music Theatre

Tuesday, June 25th at 6:30 pm - A Night of Music Theatre! Come see the incomparable Patty Carver perform her one-woman tour de force musical, Patriots of Liberty. Registration is required. Online, visit the information desk, or call (860) 258-7623.

American Girl Sew Fun

Wednesday, June 26th, 2:00 – 3:30 pm - Meet a new American Girl, Luciana, who wants to be an astronaut. Bring your own doll & learn how to make a poncho for her to wear! For ages 7 & up, space is limited to 25 children.

All Aboard Game Club

Thursday, June 27th, 2-3:30 pm - Games are fun & they also teach important skills like problem solving, taking turns & decision making. Join us to play a variety of exciting games – both new & old!

Fidelco Guide Dogs

Thursday, June 27th, 3:30 – 4:30 pm - See a special presentation from Fidelco, a local organization that raises & trains German Shepherds to become guide dogs. Meet one of their dogs, hear about the hard work that goes into training them & learn how you may be able to help!

Family Night: Pajama Storytime

Thursday, June 27th, 6:30 – 7:15 pm - Join us for a fun family evening of songs, stories, and rhymes.   Wear your jammies and bring your favorite teddy bear! For families with children ages birth to 5 years. No registration required.

Design LAB

Friday, June 28th, 2:00 - 4:00 pm - Come & create something with us! We have some cool materials for you to use including perler beads, shrinky dinks & more. For ages 5 & up. No registration needed.

Fun Fridays

Hands-on activities just right for children ages 2-5. Art Start – 1st Friday, Little Explorers – 2nd Friday, JR Builders – 3rd Friday, Let’s Celebrate – 4th Friday. No registration needed!
