Senior Center Survey and Report
In April of 2017, the Town of Rocky Hill reached out to adults 55 years of age and older to learn more about their interests in recreational activities, arts, performing arts, continuing education, health and nutrition. Specifically, we wanted to better understand how seniors socialize in the community, what programs they utilize, emerging interests of adults like yourself and any unmet needs in the community. To obtain this valuable information, a survey was designed and distributed to the seniors of Rocky Hill.
At the completion of the survey, the data was compiled and a "Programming Report for Future Senior / Community Center" report was provided in July of 2017 by Manoj Pardasani, PhD, LCSW, ACSW, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Research Scholar, Ravazzin Center on Aging, Graduate School of Social Service, Fordham University. Use the link above to download the complete report, or click here.
Dr. Manoj Pardasani will be discussing his “Programming Report for Future Senior / Community Center” and the results of the survey at the Rocky Hill Town Hall on August 21, 2017, during the Town Council meeting that starts 7:00 PM.
