Welcome to Rocky Hill, CT, a town of 21,000 residents rich in history dating back to the Revolutionary War. Located on the shore of the Connecticut River, Rocky Hill is located just two hours from both Boston and New York City and eight miles south of Hartford. Rocky Hill’s education system is a source of community pride. The newly renovated High School has earned a 2019 “College Success Award” for its college prep programs. The High School’s “Project Lead the Way” program has been designated a 2018-19 “Distinguished High School” for its PLTW engineering programs. The West Hill elementary school has been named a 2019-20 “Elementary School of the Year” by the Connecticut Association of Schools. Rocky Hill is also home to Porter & Chester Institute and a new CREC STEM Academy.
