Summer Scavenger Hunts - Outside

Try your hand at our latest challenge - outdoor scavenger hunts! Stop by the library at any time during the summer, grab a copy of our latest scavenger hunt, and explore the library grounds. We'll be offering new scavenger hunts each week, all summer long on Saturdays, starting June 19!

Tell Me ANOTHER Story: Storytelling and Theater Games - via Zoom

Hello Actors! We will be learning dramatic storytelling techniques and acting in a creative, new way! We'll listen to stories, play acting games and more. No prior acting experience is needed. Just bring your creative energy and smiles! Mondays in August from 8/2 - 8/30 @ 2:30. Register here.

Sensory Playtime for Babies and Toddlers - Outside in Person

Babies, toddlers and caregivers are invited to explore their world through sights, sounds, and textures in this interactive program. Participants will receive a take-home bag prior to the virtual event that contains the supplies needed to participate. Fridays @ 10:00 in August. Register here!

Make a Brookie - via Facebook

Join Chef Rob Scott via Facebook as he teaches you how to make a Brookie. What is a Brookie? Half brownie, half cookie. Satisfy your sweet tooth with this fun cooking class. Register here to get the recipe. For all ages. Younger children may need adult supervision. 8/9 @ 7:00.

Summer Travel Series: Chilean Patagonia with Gerri Griswold - via Zoom

Join Gerri Griswold via Zoom to explore Chilean Patagonia! Spend an hour Gerri Griswold as she shares breathtaking images from this ethereal travel destination tucked along the tail of the Andes near the bottom of the world. 8/10 @ 6:30. Register here.

I Survived: The Shark Attacks of 1916 - Online via Zoom

Join us via Zoom as we listen to a dramatic reading of I Survived: The Shark Attacks of 1916. We'll have fun interacting with the story, learning about sharks and doing some hands-on activities. Recommended for grades 2-5. Wednesdays 8/11 - 8/25 @ 1:00. Register here!

Family Story Time - Outside in Person

Join us live and in person, outside the library, for an animal-themed family story time! We'll hear stories, sing songs, and have some fun. This is a drop-in program. No registration is necessary. 8/14 @ 11:00. You may register here for a reminder.

Family Games - Outdoors in Person

Join us for Family Games! Play an oversize Beanbag Toss or Ladder Golf, Connect-four-in-a-row or Giant Tumblers. Each week will have at least one new game. Laugh, strategize and exercise. Recommended for families with children ages 4 and up. 8/16 @ 6:00. Please register here.
