[ARCHIVED] Connecticut River Ferry Site Improvements-Rocky Hill/Glastonbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that construction will be performed on the CT River Ferry in Rocky Hill and Glastonbury. This project is scheduled to commence on Sunday, November 02, 2025, and be completed on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. The project consists of Connecticut River Ferry Landing Site Improvements including fencing, sidewalk, and lighting improvements to achieve better pedestrian access.  Work is expected to begin on the Glastonbury side of the river and crews will start work on the Rocky Hill side of the river as the Glastonbury work reaches completion.  

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Lane Closures will be conducted in accordance with the Maintenance and Protection of Traffic and Limitation of Operations specifications included in this contract. Lane Closures will not interfere with existing Ferry Operations.
