Food Scraps Drop-off Program
BEGINNING SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2nd, RESIDENTS CAN DROP OFF THEIR FOOD SCRAPS BAGS AT
THE TRANSFER STATION TO BE TURNED INTO CLEAN ENERGY AT AN INDUSTRIAL COMPOSTER.
Are you interested in separating your food scraps from your trash so that they can be made into compost,
but don’t want to do it in your backyard? Consider joining us in the effort to prevent food waste from
entering the conventional waste stream and promoting a sustainable environment!
REMEMBER – ONLY FOOD SCRAPS are allowed in your bag.
No PLASTIC items, stickers, rubber bands or twist ties!
White or clear Kitchen/Ziploc bags can be used!
