Business Assistance
The Town of Rocky Hill and the State of Connecticut want to help in any way we can to assist your business. If you are interested in opening a business or relocating an existing business to Rocky Hill, the Economic Development Director will work with you to identify a suitable site and discuss issues relative to proposals. If confidentiality is an issue, we are willing to work with you on that level as well.
We maintain a current inventory of available land and existing buildings for sale or lease. Working closely with interested parties to identify healthy growth opportunities and encouraging dialogue with existing business is our number one priority.
State Programs
Whether you already own a business in Rocky Hill or are interested in the benefits of relocating here, there are state programs to help you expand or even to continue to do business in hard times. For information on the state's many tax incentive programs visit the State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development website.
Tax Rebates
The Town of Rocky Hill has offered tax rebates to firms making significant investment in capital improvements. In order to be considered for this program, minimum investment thresholds must be met and the Town may consider requests for assistance under this program on a case-by-case basis.
For information on local tax incentive programs for existing businesses wishing to expand and new businesses wishing to locate here, contact the Director of Economic Development.
